Ellerin Award Goes to Dr. Paul Stoffels

What a special day at the 20th annual HBS Healthcare Alumni Assn. conference. First I had the privilege of giving the Ellerin Award to Dr. Paul Stoffels, Vice Chairman of the Executive Committee and Chief Scientific Officer of J&J. His mission in life was to help people, and that he has done for millions around the world. He has been instrumental in developing drugs and therapies to treat HIV, TB, cancer, cardiovascular disease, metabolic syndromes and many others.

Then, I was surprised and honored to receive an award for my vision in founding the association many years ago. It’s exciting to see how it has grown and that it is still meaningful to many alumni.
